In December 2016, AID Bank left an indelible impression on some of the pupils at Woodford Hill primary school. Pupils from Grade K to Grade 2 at Woodford Hill Primary school were surprised, emotional & elated at being recipients of Christmas gifts from AID Bank.
In response to a request from the school to be part of the Christmas celebrations, AID Bank was overjoyed to bring cheer to approximately twenty-seven pupils.
The principal expressed gratitude for this kind gesture by the bank. According to the Agricultural Development Officer of the AID Bank, Ms. Bertilia Bethel , while it was a small gesture , it was greatly appreciated by the children, “the expressive glow” on their faces as they immediately opened their gifts was heart-felt.
A number of productive farmers funded by the AID Bank are from Woodford Hill which is part of the north eastern main agricultural belt of the country.
AID Bank continues to build relationships within communities in Dominica that foster job creation and other aspects of economic development within the productive sectors.
