The Dominica Agricultural Industrial and Development Bank (AID Bank) invites expressions of interest from certified accounting firms to audit the AID Bank’s financial statements for the year ending June 30, 2021.

The AID Bank is a body corporate established under Chapter 74:03 of the Laws of the Commonwealth of Dominica (Revised Edition).

The Bank is overseen by a Board of Directors and has a current complement of 39 staff.

In light of the Corona Virus Pandemic, the Dominica Agricultural Industrial and Development Bank (AID Bank) will be undertaking certain precautionary measures to safeguard our team of banking professionals and our valued customers.
Effective immediately, the bank has implemented the following measures to minimize the risk of the spread of COVID-19.
• The Bank will be opened for business on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. to facilitate loan and rental payment processing only.

A cash donation from the AID Bank to the Christian Union Primary School contributed to the end of term fun day for the pupils of the school this Christmas.

The AID Bank experiences great joy in reaching out to diverse groups at Christmas time to meet the needs of the less fortunate or the most vulnerable among us. Contributing to the joy of the pupils at the celebration was equally sentimental and fulfilling.

In December 2016, AID Bank left an indelible impression on some of the pupils at Woodford Hill primary school. Pupils from Grade K to Grade 2 at Woodford Hill Primary school were surprised, emotional & elated at being recipients of Christmas gifts from AID Bank.

In response to a request from the school to be part of the Christmas celebrations, AID Bank was overjoyed to bring cheer to approximately twenty-seven pupils.

In the spirit of the Christmas Season, the staff of the Dominica Agricultural Industrial and Development Bank supported the 5th Annual Etiquette Christmas event organized by the Love One Teach One Foundation Inc. 

The personal contributions of staff covered the expenses associated with the transportation for the youth to the event, the rental of tables, and the beautification of the location. The staff of the bank felt that this gesture by the foundation was a very worthwhile one.

San Sauveur Primary School receives two used computers from the AID Bank to facilitate their Information Technology (IT) Programme and the “Ask, Listen and Learn” (ALL) Programme.

The Dominica Agricultural, Industrial and Development Bank has offered transitional scholarships to two students commencing their secondary education at the Isiah Thomas Secondary School (ITSS). The Bank is extremely pleased that as part of its corporate social responsibility, it has afforded two students from CHANCES the opportunity to attend ITSS.

Both students wrote the 2016 grade six (6) national assessment examination and were successful, despite the challenges they may have faced before becoming part of the CHANCES family.

The recently approved $10 million dollar Line of Credit for Agriculture from the Government of Dominica, with resources earned from the Citizen by Investment Programme (CBIP), is being shared equally between the pork and poultry industries and crops, other livestock, fishing and general agriculture enterprises.
